Darker and stylistically more progressive in style than the previous mixes
in DJ Met's spiritual search trilogy that includes "Sunday School Charlatan"
and "Throwing Back the Apple"; "New Century Beasts"  was a live
performance, recorded at Club Millennium in Myrtle Beach, SC.

What did Met decide? We can't say but  "New Century Beasts" marked
a turning point for DJ Met and Dokusentia as evidenced by smoother
productions, mixes and artwork immediately following this mixtape's release.

A more mature and relaxed funky house set from DJ Met with works
from Joey Youngman, Fred Everything and Sound Navigators.

While the title may sound tongue-in-cheek, this mix session's  title is quite literal.  The opening sequence includes the Dokusentia "D" logo converted into sound using the program MetaSynth.

The psychedelic cover plays into the title and is a homage to the
School House Rock classic,  "A noun is a person, place or thing."

Opening with an audio interview excerpt  from House Music legend Frankie Knuckles, Your Love Jack explores the deeper side of funky house with a chilled out vibe. 

This mix is a 30 minute promotional snippet of a January 2008 live performance recorded at Club Fusion in Columbia, South Carolina.

The cover photo of DJ Met is a call back to the classic Blue Note Records album art, which by this time had become an obsession and influenced a shift to smoother sounds.
